Bucks County Transport is thrilled to announce that Jane Andrews, Customer Service Representative, has been selected as the STAR Employee for the October-December 2025 quarter. Jane will be honored at a special award ceremony on January 7, 2026, receiving recognition for her outstanding dedication to BCT’s mission and values.
A Well-Deserved Honor
Jane exemplifies BCT’s core values of Communication, Courage, Passion, and Honesty in every aspect of her work. Her consistent professionalism and genuine care for clients and colleagues have made her an invaluable member of the BCT team.
The nomination highlighted Jane’s unwavering commitment to polite and respectful communication with everyone she encounters. This approach doesn’t go unnoticed—on November 11th, a client took time out of their day to call BCT specifically to share how pleasant Jane always is when handling their requests. This unprompted praise demonstrates the lasting positive impression Jane leaves on those she serves.
Rising to the Challenge
Jane’s courage shone particularly bright this quarter when she stepped up to take on dialysis client scheduling after the previous employee’s departure. Despite being new to this specialized and demanding responsibility, Jane tackled the challenge head-on. Dialysis scheduling requires exceptional precision and compassion, as clients depend on timely transportation for life-sustaining treatments. Though Jane admits she wasn’t initially confident, she persevered and mastered this critical role.
Passionate Service with Honesty
Jane’s passion for helping others extends to both clients and coworkers. She’s known throughout BCT for her openness and honesty when addressing issues or mistakes—a quality that builds trust and strengthens the entire organization. Her colleagues especially value how she advocates for clients, particularly seniors, always seeking creative solutions rather than defaulting to “no.”
“Jane goes out of her way to help clients,” noted her nominator. “She always asks permission to squeeze in trips when needed, showing both respect for procedures and genuine care for the people we serve.”
Celebrating Excellence
As BCT’s STAR Employee, Jane received a $500 bonus, framed certificate, special recognition pin, and a celebration at her work location. Beyond these tangible rewards, Jane has earned something even more valuable—the gratitude and respect of the many clients and colleagues whose lives she’s improved through her daily dedication.
Jane’s win exemplifies what the STAR Employee Program aims to recognize: team members who don’t just do their jobs, but who bring heart, courage, and excellence to every interaction.
The next STAR Employee nomination period is now open. Nomination boxes are available at all BCT locations for employees to recognize deserving colleagues who embody our core values and make a difference every day.
Congratulations, Jane Andrews—you truly are a STAR!
