State Representative Joe Hogan’s Senior Expo on October 17th brought together a vibrant crowd of seniors and community vendors, creating an atmosphere of connection and discovery.
Among the many organizations present, Bucks County Transport had the pleasure of meeting wonderful seniors from throughout the community—including some familiar faces who had used BCT services to travel to the event itself.
The strong turnout reflected the community’s appetite for information and resources, with seniors actively engaging with vendors and asking thoughtful questions about available services. For BCT, the expo provided not just an opportunity to inform but also to demonstrate technology in action.
During the event, BCT staff had the chance to walk an existing client through the FMR Schedule App, explaining how the digital tool works and even booking a trip on the spot. The client was thoroughly impressed by the technology’s capabilities and ease of use. However, in a testament to the personal touch BCT provides, she made it clear that she still prefers calling to speak with the customer service team—especially Janie, one of BCT’s beloved customer service representatives.
