BCT Training Department Hosts 2026 Kickoff Meeting

Bucks County Transport’s training department reached a significant milestone this week, bringing together trainers from all terminals for a historic kickoff meeting on Tuesday, January 13th. The gathering assembled in one room to align on best practices, strengthen collaboration, and chart the course for enhanced driver training across the organization.

Driver Trainer Supervisor Tremaine Rutledge led the meeting, welcoming trainers from across BCT’s terminal network. The North Terminal was represented by Hank, Jim, and Sue, while Chris joined from the South Terminal. Together, this dedicated group spent the day focused on a shared mission: ensuring every BCT driver receives the highest quality training possible. By sharing successful techniques, discussing challenges, and learning from one another’s experiences, the trainers laid the groundwork for a cohesive and effective training program.

“Having all our trainers together in one place was invaluable,” the team noted. “We’re not just individual trainers at different terminals—we’re a unified training department working toward the same goals.”

The kickoff meeting represents more than just a gathering—it’s a commitment to continuous improvement and excellence in driver training. As BCT continues to grow and serve more residents throughout Bucks County, ensuring consistently high-quality training across all terminals becomes increasingly critical.

The trainers left the meeting energized and equipped with new insights, ready to implement enhanced training practices at their respective locations. This collaborative approach ultimately benefits everyone: the trainers who feel more supported, the drivers who receive better instruction, and the clients who depend on safe, professional transportation.

A great day was had by all, and the enthusiasm from this inaugural meeting sets a promising tone for the future of BCT’s training program.

Here’s to unity, collaboration, and the trainers who ensure BCT drivers are prepared to serve our community with excellence!
