Bucks County Transport once again played a vital role in Delaware Valley University’s annual A-Day celebration, providing three shuttle buses that transported fairgoers throughout the weekend of April 24-26, 2026. The reliable shuttle service allowed thousands of visitors to easily access the beloved state fair without parking concerns.
Three Buses, Six Dedicated Drivers
BCT’s team ensured seamless transportation throughout the three-day event. On Saturday, April 25th, drivers John Sikora, Mark Carels, and Jim Masters kept the shuttles running smoothly from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Sunday’s service, operating from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM on April 26th, was handled by John Sikora, Jim Donnelly, and Jim Masters.
The continuous back-and-forth shuttle service made the fair accessible to community members of all ages and abilities, eliminating the hassle of parking and allowing visitors to focus on enjoying the wide variety of vendors, crafters, agricultural exhibits, food competitions, and family-friendly activities.
Supporting Community Traditions
A-Day has been a Delaware Valley University tradition since 1949, evolving from a single-day agricultural showcase into a weekend-long state fair that draws visitors from across the region. The student-planned event has been part of the Pennsylvania State Association of County Fairs since 2004.
BCT’s shuttle service has become an integral part of A-Day’s success, demonstrating how reliable transportation can enhance community events and make them more inclusive for all attendees.
