The Holicong Office was transformed into a festive celebration on December 19th as BCT staff members gathered for an unforgettable Christmas party. The event served double duty—spreading holiday cheer while honoring the retirement of DART Systems Manager Charlie Marcakis and his many years of dedicated service to Bucks County Transport.
Customer Service & Administrative Manager Lisa Lange truly outdid herself with the party planning, arranging delicious displays of food that delighted attendees. The carefully selected spread created a warm, welcoming atmosphere where colleagues could relax, enjoy delicious cuisine, and celebrate the season together.
The party took on special significance as it also served as a farewell celebration for Charlie Marcakis. Colleagues gathered to express their gratitude for his dedication and contributions to BCT’s mission. The event provided an opportunity for staff to personally thank Charlie for the impact he’s made.
Lisa kept the entertainment flowing with games that brought out everyone’s competitive spirit. The trivia contest proved to be a highlight of the evening, with Kurt Brown emerging victorious as the trivia champion. The friendly competition and laughter created memories that will carry the team well into the new year.
The Christmas party wouldn’t have been possible without the support of CEO Jim Raymond, whose commitment to celebrating and appreciating BCT’s hardworking staff makes events like this a reality. His investment in team morale and workplace culture helps make BCT not just a place to work, but a community where people genuinely care about one another. Two more Terminal parties will be happening soon to continue the celebrations company-wide.
Here’s to the holidays and to the BCT family that makes every day brighter!
