Drivers, dispatchers, mechanics, and office staff at each site took a well deserved break to enjoy shaved ice on a hot July afternoon and celebrate together as a team.
The event was about more than frozen treats. It was a chance to thank the people who make BCT’s mission possible every single day. As a nonprofit paratransit provider, BCT connects Bucks County residents, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those without other transportation options, to the appointments, jobs, and services they depend on. None of that happens without the dedication of the employees behind the wheel, on the phones, and in the garage.
“Our employees are the heart of this organization,” said Jim Raymond, CEO of Bucks County Transport. “Every ride we provide changes someone’s day, and sometimes their life. This was a small way to say thank you to the team that makes it happen.”
For riders in Bucks County, BCT is more than a ride. It is independence, access, and connection. That starts with a team that shows up for the community every day, and BCT is proud to show up for them in return.
BCT thanks its entire team for their commitment, and thanks Kona Ice for helping make the day special.
