Bucks County Transport was honored to participate in the 2025 Bucks County Tour of Honor on April 7, 2025, supporting this meaningful initiative that recognizes the service and sacrifice of our local veterans.
The Bucks County Tour of Honor provides United States Military Veterans from the Bucks County area with an all-expenses-paid trip to Washington, DC. Veterans visit memorials and sites that honor American principles and the service of military personnel, including Arlington National Cemetery, World War II Memorial, Korean War Memorial, and Vietnam Memorial Wall.
BCT played a vital role in this year’s event, leading a caravan from Quakertown that made its way to Parx Casino East, where the official Tour of Honor journey began. The trip concluded with a special “Welcome Home” celebration and dinner hosted by Parx Casino.
BCT DART driver Hank Burroughs, a veteran himself, proudly served as one of the drivers for this meaningful event. Employee driver Jim Engle also participated, along with former retired BCT driver John Cary, demonstrating the ongoing commitment of BCT staff to supporting our veterans.
“Being part of the Tour of Honor is deeply meaningful for our organization,” said Audra Chantelau, Director of Operations. “Transportation is about connecting people to important experiences, and there are few more important than honoring our veterans and their service to our country.”
The Bucks County Tour of Honor stands as a powerful reminder of the importance of recognizing those who have served our nation. BCT is proud to support this initiative that ensures our local veterans receive the recognition and appreciation they deserve.
