Bucks County Transport (BCT) participated in the Warminster Heights Community Resource Expo on Tuesday, September 17th, despite challenging weather conditions. The event, held from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, was designed to connect community members with valuable local resources and services.
BCT was represented by Customer Service & Administrative Manager Lisa Lange and Customer Relations Manager Ellen Melson, who were available to discuss transportation options with attendees and fellow service providers.
The expo provided an excellent opportunity for meaningful conversations with other community organizations. BCT representatives had productive discussions with several vendors, including State Representative Brian Munroe, about the various resources available for seniors within Bucks County.
“We had quality conversations about transportation needs in the community,” said Lange. “These face-to-face discussions with both residents and other service providers help us better understand how to improve our transportation services.”
Resource expos like this one play a crucial role in connecting community members with the services they need, from healthcare and social services to transportation assistance. BCT’s participation demonstrates our ongoing commitment to community engagement and our dedication to ensuring residents know about the transportation options available to them.
Despite the weather challenges, the Warminster Heights Resource Expo served its purpose of bringing together service providers and fostering important conversations about community needs and resources.
