Jim was honored at a special award ceremony held on Monday, July 27 at 11:00 AM at North Terminal, where he was joined by coworkers and leadership to celebrate his achievement. He received a $500 bonus, a framed certificate, and a recognition pin.

The STAR Employee Bonus Program is BCT’s quarterly, peer-nominated recognition initiative. Employees nominate coworkers who exemplify our core values of Communication, Courage, Impact, Passion, Honesty, and Selflessness, and who make a real difference in the lives of the clients and communities we serve.
Jim’s nomination came from a colleague who has seen firsthand the care he brings to his work every day. Jim truly enjoys what he does and loves helping people. His enthusiasm for helping clients get where they need to go is evident in everything he does, and he has earned repeated compliments from the facilities he serves on group trips.
Going Above and Beyond
Jim has stepped up for his team time and again. He volunteered to travel to Bristol to help clean buses, and when the Courthouse Shuttle needed coverage on short notice, a route he had never driven before, he stepped in without complaint.
