On October 10, 2024, Bucks County Transport (BCT) participated in a well-attended senior expo hosted by Pennsylvania State Senator Frank Farry. The event, held at Northampton County Club from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, provided an excellent opportunity for BCT to connect with the local senior community. Representing BCT at the expo were Lisa Triolo, Office Manager and Outreach Coordinator, and Lisa Soltner, South Terminal Manager. Their presence demonstrated BCT’s ongoing commitment to serving and engaging with seniors in Bucks County.
The expo proved to be extremely popular, with a large turnout of seniors seeking information about various services available to them. BCT’s booth was particularly busy, reflecting the vital role transportation plays in seniors’ lives. During the event, Lisa Triolo and Lisa Soltner distributed over 40 applications for BCT services, indicating strong interest in our transportation options. This high level of engagement underscores the importance of BCT’s presence at community events to raise awareness about our services.
One of the highlights of the day was the opportunity to interact with current BCT clients who attended the expo. Many expressed their satisfaction with BCT’s services, providing valuable positive feedback. Notably, several attendees had even used BCT’s transportation to reach the event, showcasing the practical, day-to-day impact of our services.
“It was heartening to hear directly from our clients about how pleased they are with BCT,” said Lisa Triolo. “Their stories really illustrate how our services are making a difference in people’s lives.” “The fact that some attendees used our services to get to the expo demonstrates the essential nature of what we do. It’s not just about transportation; it’s about enabling seniors to participate fully in community events like this.”
BCT extends its gratitude to Senator Frank Farry for organizing this important event and to the Northampton County Club for hosting. We look forward to continuing our participation in such community events, furthering our mission to provide accessible, reliable transportation to all Bucks County residents, particularly our senior population.
