On October 9, 2024, Bucks County Transport (BCT) participated in PA State Senator Jarrett Coleman’s Senior Expo, held at the Upper Bucks Technical School in Perkasie. North Terminal Manager Audra Chantelau represented BCT at this important community event.
The expo provided a valuable opportunity to raise awareness about BCT’s services in the Upper Bucks region. “Many seniors were surprised to learn that we actively serve Upper Bucks,” Chantelau noted. “It was great to clarify our coverage area and explain the full range of transportation options available to them.”
During the event, Chantelau was able to assist several current clients who weren’t sure about their registration status. Using ecolane, she confirmed their registrations and provided important guidance about updating their information. “Some clients had moved since initially registering with us,” Chantelau explained. “I was able to direct them to our reservations department to update their addresses, ensuring they continue to receive seamless service.”
The face-to-face interactions at the expo proved particularly valuable for both current and potential clients. Seniors had the opportunity to ask detailed questions about BCT’s services and receive immediate, personalized responses. This direct engagement helped clarify any uncertainties about our transportation options and service area.
“Being out in the community and meeting seniors face-to-face is incredibly rewarding,” said Chantelau. “These events allow us to better understand their needs and ensure they’re aware of all the transportation resources available to them in Upper Bucks County.”
BCT extends its appreciation to State Senator Jarrett Coleman for organizing this important event and to Upper Bucks Technical School for hosting. These community outreach opportunities are essential for ensuring that all Bucks County seniors know about and can access the transportation services they need.
We look forward to continuing our participation in such events and maintaining our commitment to serving the transportation needs of Upper Bucks residents.
