Bucks County Transport (BCT) recently participated in a Senior Expo hosted by PA State Senator Frank Farry at the Northampton Country Club. The well-attended event provided an excellent opportunity for BCT to connect with seniors and their families about available transportation services.
BCT was represented by Customer Service & Administrative Manager Lisa Lange, who staffed the organization’s booth throughout the event. The expo drew impressive attendance from the community, with many attendees stopping by to learn about BCT’s transportation options. Visitors picked up applications and engaged in meaningful conversations about BCT’s services, with several sharing positive experiences about relatives who have used BCT transportation in the past.
“It was wonderful to see such strong community interest in our services,” said Lange. “Many people weren’t aware of all the transportation options available to them, and others shared heartwarming stories about how BCT has helped their family members maintain independence and access essential services.”
The Senior Expo format allowed for in-depth discussions about eligibility requirements, service areas, and the various programs BCT offers to support seniors throughout Bucks County. These face-to-face conversations are invaluable for helping potential clients understand how paratransit services can enhance their quality of life.
Senator Frank Farry’s hosting of the event demonstrates the continued commitment of local leadership to addressing the needs of senior constituents. Events like this play a crucial role in connecting seniors with vital community resources, from healthcare and social services to transportation assistance.
The positive response at the expo reinforces the importance of BCT’s ongoing community outreach efforts. By participating in events throughout Bucks County, BCT continues to raise awareness about transportation options and ensure that residents know help is available when they need it.
BCT appreciates Senator Farry’s dedication to serving the senior community and looks forward to participating in future events that connect residents with essential services.
