On Tuesday, July 30th, Bucks County Transport (BCT) Office Manager Lisa Triolo represented our organization at a community meet-and-greet event held at the Bensalem Senior Center. The event, which began at 11:30 AM, provided an excellent opportunity for BCT to connect with local seniors and share information about our services.

The Bensalem Senior Center had kindly featured BCT in their newsletter prior to the event, helping to generate interest and boost attendance. As a result, there was a strong turnout, with many seniors eager to learn more about the transportation options available to them.
During the event, Lisa engaged with attendees, distributing applications and answering a wide range of questions about BCT’s services. Many seniors were interested in learning about our paratransit options, scheduling procedures, and service areas.
The event was so well-received that the Bensalem Senior Center has invited BCT to return for a follow-up visit. Plans are already in the works for this future event, which will include bringing a BCT bus on-site. This will give seniors the opportunity to see firsthand the vehicles they would be traveling in and familiarize themselves with the accessibility features.
At BCT, we’re committed to community outreach and ensuring that all residents of Bucks County are aware of the transportation options available to them. We look forward to continuing our engagement with the Bensalem Senior Center and other community organizations throughout the county.
