On August 16, 2023, BCT celebrated the 20th Work anniversary of dedicated employee Harvey Edelman.
On his special anniversary date, our CEO, Jim Raymond, along with the entire management team, came together to express their heartfelt gratitude and appreciation for Harvey’s incredible 20 years of service.
In a warm and heartfelt gathering, they presented Harvey with a small token of appreciation and hosted a delightful luncheon in his honor. It was a moment of celebration and reflection, as we collectively thanked Harvey for his dedication, leadership, and unwavering commitment to BCT. The event served as a fitting tribute to a colleague whose contributions have truly made a difference in our non-profit paratransit company.
Harvey’s journey with our organization is a testament to the exceptional talent and unwavering commitment he has brought to our mission over the past two decades. Back in 2003, Harvey embarked on a new chapter in his life after retiring from a successful career elsewhere. Little did he know that what was initially intended as part-time work to fill his retirement years would evolve into an extraordinary and impactful career with BCT.
Harvey began his journey with us as a part time driver, and it didn’t take long for his exceptional skills and dedication to shine through. As we quickly recognized his potential, Harvey’s role expanded beyond that of a driver. He embraced the opportunity to become a part of our training team and soon took on the role of Training Manager.
Under Harvey’s guidance, our training department soared to new heights. His meticulous attention to detail, dedication to safety, and ability to impart knowledge have been instrumental in shaping our workforce. His passion for continuous improvement and a deep understanding of the intricacies of our industry were evident as he led our team to excellence. Harvey’s commitment didn’t stop there. He also took on the responsibility of overseeing our DART program as well!
Most recently, Harvey has returned his focus to Training and Risk Management, where he continues to play a pivotal role in safeguarding our operations and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. His wealth of knowledge and experience continue to benefit our entire organization.
As we celebrate Harvey’s remarkable 20 years of service, we couldn’t be prouder to have him as a valued member of our team and as a colleague. His dedication, expertise, and unwavering commitment to our mission have left an indelible mark on our organization.
